How Do I Reserve A Puppy? Your Step By Step Guide
STEP 1: Please read our FAQ page first. We have designed this page to be as informative as possible. Even if you choose not to go with us, we believe reading through every question and every answer will help you in your search for the right breeder and Norwegian Buhund. Also review our Puppies For Sale page to see what puppies are available right now. If you see a puppy on our Puppies For Sale page you can almost guarantee he/she is available.
STEP 2: Puppy Application - Fill out our online Puppy Application Here and email the completed application to [email protected]
STEP 3: Deposit & Holding Contract - Once your Puppy Application has been reviewed and is approved, place your deposit. Notice that BlackRose Norwegian Buhunds does not have a BUY NOW button. We truly care who our puppies go home to. After we receive your Puppy Application, we will review it carefully. Typically we will get back with you within 24-48 hours. If you don’t hear from us, please check your Spam/Junk folder as our response will most likely be there. If you still don’t see it, then please email/call us back. We will respond either way.
STEP 4: Puppies Are Born - Follow along on social media for photos and videos as the puppies grow!
STEP 5: Puppy Selection - The puppies are temperament tested at 7 weeks of age and evaluated for conformation at 8 weeks of age. From here, we will begin matching puppies with puppy buyers on our wait-list based on temperament, lifestyle, wants and conformation. A family may receive more than one potential match, if that happens, families will get to choose their puppies from their potential matches based on the order deposits were received.
STEP 6: Veterinarian Check - Before puppies go to their new homes they must be cleared by our veterinarian.
STEP 7: Puppy Pick-Up/Shipping - When the puppies are 9 weeks old they are ready to go to their new homes. (Note: Puppies must be 9 weeks old to fly.)
Additional Training: We offer the option to add on additional weeks of training if you choose. Additional Training begins at 10 weeks of age and covers additional housetraining, manners, and socialization fit to the age and needs of the puppy.
